01.04.2025
On March 26-27, the ITS for Regions forum, a leading event in the field of Intelligent Transport Systems, was held in Buryatia. The event brought together representatives from federal and regional authorities, industry institutions, and specialized organizations.
Urbantech Group showcased their innovative traffic enforcement solutions at their booth, including state-of-the-art traffic enforcement cameras, a Road Safety Analytical Module, and the OSSiG Control and Taxi Control systems.
Alexander Dombrovsky, Deputy General Director of Urbantech Group, delivered a presentation highlighting the importance of a comprehensive approach to employing traffic enforcement cameras for enhancing road safety. He emphasized that outdated systems are inadequate for reducing accidents, whereas modern technologies can more efficiently identify violations and address accident-prone areas.
“Many regions still use outdated systems that fail to capture a considerable number of violations. Modern solutions not only offer greater reliability but also provide swift analysis of road conditions, thereby reducing accident rates,” noted Dombrovsky.
The modern traffic enforcement cameras displayed by Urbantech Group, including Azimut 4, which can simultaneously detect over 50 types of traffic violations, garnered significant interest from forum participants. Attendees were also keenly interested in the Road Safety Analytical Module, which collects and analyzes accident data for effective safety planning.
The ITS for Regions forum has long served as a platform for discussing key developments in Intelligent Transport Systems, sharing experiences, and implementing advanced road safety solutions.
