UrbanTech Group remains actively involved in social projects aimed at promoting road safety. Last week, we partnered with a meeting of the regional children’s road safety club organized by the Road Safety Union in collaboration with the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Moscow Region. The event was attended by Vladimir Sevostyanov, Deputy Chief of the Moscow Region State Traffic Safety Inspectorate; Larisa Sulima, Deputy Minister of Education of the Moscow Region; and a representative from the Krasnogorsk city administration.
The event was held at the Crocus Expo Exhibition Center. A key highlight of the meeting was the award ceremony for the winners of the “My Mascot Protects Me” drawing contest, in which children showcased their ideas for creating a traffic safety character, a symbol of the Road Safety Union. From over a thousand entries from across Russia and the CIS countries, the jury selected three winners, whom our company rewarded with special prizes—Yandex Station Midi smart speakers. The young creators of traffic safety art were delighted with their well-deserved awards!
“In today’s world, ensuring children’s safety on the roads is becoming an increasingly important task that requires innovative solutions. As a partner of the Moscow Region in road safety, we regularly participate in the social initiatives of the Moscow Region State Traffic Inspectorate and the projects of the Moscow Region Road Safety Union. Preventing childhood injuries on the roads through the use of creative approaches is an admirable initiative that has already proven effective, not only in developing lasting safe road behavior but also in fostering children’s creative thinking, their ability to express themselves, and win. We are truly proud that a generation of genuinely mindful children is growing up in the Moscow Region, for whom following traffic rules is a way of life. You have demonstrated that turning the complex science of road safety into art is possible! Thank you for your creativity, courage, and responsibility! I wish you many more stellar achievements and, of course, safe travels!” shared Alexander Dombrovsky, Deputy General Director for Traffic Enforcement at Urbantech Group.
At the conclusion of the event, volunteers from the company distributed reflective bracelets and backpacks to all participants to help enhance their visibility on the road. They also received exclusive coloring books, developed by our company in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport of the Moscow Region. These books feature the most common traffic situations, along with guidance on how to behave safely on the road.
