Urbantech Group unveils Azimut 4 traffic enforcement camera at GITEX GLOBAL 2024 international innovation forum

15.10.2024

The Azimut 4 traffic enforcement camera, the most in-demand in Russia in 2023, was showcased at GITEX Global 2024, the largest international technology exhibition.

The event is being held in Dubai on October 14–18 and is a premier showcase for the latest advancements in information and communication technology and electronics.

The Azimut 4 is a flagship device and a key product in the company’s product line. The camera identifies 51 types of traffic violations, ranging from standard infractions like driving on the shoulder or crossing into oncoming traffic, to more complex detections using neural network processing, such as unfastened seatbelt, using a phone while driving, failing to yield to pedestrians at a crosswalk, or driving without headlights or daytime running lights.

Today, the Azimut 4 accurately determines the driver’s location, regardless of which side the steering wheel is on. Moreover, it can detect unfastened seatbelts for both the driver and the passenger.

The system utilizes a machine vision camera with high light sensitivity, enabling it to produce high-quality evidence even in poorly lit or unlit road sections. This makes it one of the most advanced and effective solutions available on the market, including internationally.
