Urbantech Group Holds Culinary Masterclass on Traffic Rules for Moscow Region Preschoolers

02.07.2024

The Urbantech Group continues to support initiatives aimed at preventing road traffic injuries among children in various regions. The company co-organized a culinary masterclass on traffic rules, in collaboration with the Moscow Region State Traffic Safety Inspectorate and the regional Road Safety Union public interest organization.

The event organizers prepared an educational quiz on traffic rules for the preschoolers of the Aerospace Lyceum in Khimki and reminded the children of the basic road safety principles. They also held a Draw a Traffic Sign masterclass, during which they discussed the most important traffic signs for pedestrians, cyclists, and PMD users.

To reinforce their newly acquired knowledge, the children drew traffic signs on gingerbread cookies. At the close of the event, the Urbantech Group volunteers distributed reflective bracelets and specially designed coloring books titled A World of Safe Roads to the participants. These materials have been designed to help children learn traffic rules in a playful and memorable way.

“The trend towards enhancing road safety for children with innovative educational approaches is growing and evolving each year. As a strategic partner of the Moscow Region in improving road safety, we pay special attention to promoting road safety education among the youngest road users. When working with children, it is crucial to communicate in a language they can understand, in a simple and engaging way. Children like to experiment, create with their hands, and innovate. This is one of the most effective methods for absorbing new information, which is why we focus on unique educational formats tailored to this audience in our projects. As a result, we not only receive positive feedback but also nurture children who are well-informed about road safety,” said Alexander Dombrovski, Deputy General Director and Director of the Road Safety and Analytics Department at the Urbantech Group.
